Q: If
I make a team, what is the next step ?
A: If
you made a team, there is a MANDATORY
registration on:
MONDAY OCTOBER
20, 2008 from 5:00-6:45 pm at GATES’ Gymnasium
COST(s):
- Registration
Cost: $200.00 (covers equipment, gym fees, referees, and
league dues)
- Uniform
Cost: $ 45.00 ##

Players with Reebok Uniforms from LAST YEAR – 2 Important
notes:
- If
your uniform fits from last year, you do not have to buy a new one.
You must tell us at Registration.
- If
your uniform from last year had problems with its silk screening
(badly faded or peeled), and you want to re-use it for this season,
please bring it to Registration and we will get it fixed from our
vendor.

All **NEW** Players must order new uniforms. The
uniform will be the player’s property. Going forward, if a
player would like to use his/her uniform from the Previous Season of
Travel Basketball, they will not have to purchase a new
uniform.
Q: What if I didn't make a team?
A: We
highly encourage all of the kids who do not make a travel team this
year to keep working at it. If they have a love of the sport, play
basketball in the Youth Center program this winter, attend
camps/clinics in the offseason, or just play pick up ball
(individually/collectively) whenever you can find the time. With the
NEW courts built up at the High School, there is more opportunity,
for organized and recreational play, than ever before in Scituate.
Next year may bring a whole new opportunity. Finally, for the 4th
Graders who are all competing for 1 coed team - next year, the
opportunities expand. At the 5th through 8th
grade level, we offer 4 teams; 2 Boys (A and B) and 2 Girls (A and
B). Good luck to all the kids.

**Tryout Notice** Travel Basketball Teams **Tryout Notice**
Tryouts will take place the weeks of September 29 and October 6. Please see the calendar for details. If you have not signed up for the 2008-2009 season, you must show up at the tryouts with a parent.
Tryout times are subject to change (unlikely, but you never know). Please check the site for the current dates and times.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tryout time.
